GUIDELINES FOR SEARCHING THE ARCHIVE
|
|
Here are three brief examples of how to query the listserver
archives:
To search for all appearances of the string "search_string", send a
message to LISTSERV@listserv.uoguelph.ca with text body such as (in the
third example "ERIC" is a sample name):
Search search_string IN swmm-users
Search search_string IN swmm-users SINCE 2004/04/17
Search search_string IN swmm-users WHERE SENDER CONTAINS ERIC
For further info on the syntax see:
http://www.lsoft.com/manuals/1.8d/owner/appenda.html
or similar
The server returns an email with the required information, e.g.
sending
> Search PCSWMM IN swmm-users
produces a summary:
> 1021 matches (only the first 100 will be shown).
