Technical Support
Welcome to the PCSWMM.NET technical support section. Descriptions of
the resources here are given below.
Getting started exercise
There is a downloadable getting started
exercise that steps new users of PCSWMM.NET through the process of
creating a simple hydrologic and hydraulic model with water quality. We have provided both US
and SI unit versions of this exercise.
Product updates
Ensure you have downloaded and installed the latest version of PCSWMM.NET
from our product updates web page.
Technical support knowledge base
Search for answers to commonly asked questions on our
knowledge base.
US EPA SWMM specific questions
Questions relating to the SWMM engine should be directed to the
SWMM-USERS list
server. If you are not yet a member of this list, please sign up -
it is free and an incredibly valuable resource. Before posting your
question though, please check the searchable
SWMM Q&A database for
past topics. Also please be aware that PCSWMM.NET interface-specific
questions should not be sent to the list.
For SWMM engine questions which haven't been resolved through the
knowledge base or SWMM-USERS list server, CHI provides direct technical support for the US EPA SWMM5
engine to current licensees through our technical support division (for
simple answers) free of charge, or through our consulting division for
questions requiring a more involved analysis (please call for a cost
estimate). CHI is also available for professional engineering consulting
work on any modeling project.
Contacting CHI
After consulting the available information listed above, licensees of
current software may request assistance by
contacting us directly (see table below). Questions regarding computer
runs should be emailed with relevant input data files attached.
CHI offers unlimited support on the PCSWMM.NET interface to active licensees.
Licensees are named in our licensee database at the time the license is
issued or re-assigned. Please
ensure you are using the latest version of the software (see product
updates above).
